5Don't attempt to conjure prices on your own, as you will certainly miss something. Get this book for your Handyman business.
By Randy Browning
I was going to give it a four star for being so simplistically formulaic in its presentation, then I thought heck no, easy to access standards and a simple layout are exactly what you want if you are trying to get an accurate quote to a customer. This book is awesome, and the only thing that would improve it would be in a simple same data base that I could query quicker than the book. I'm certain it's out there, and if not I might OCR it into a data base structure that I can use for my own purposes.

2RS means needs to include cost data for 21 to 41 story Reinforced concrete buildings and tall steel buildings.
By Richard Yewchuk
This book is okay for wood frame buildings, but
Has absolutely no cost data for reinforced concrete buildings or steel buildings. The lack of cost information for steel and reinforced concrete buildings makes this book nearly useless. Please understand that RS means must expand its range of building components to include reinforced concrete and steel. There is some concrete slab costs and footing costs for small wood frame buildings, but there needs to be cost information for tall reinforced concrete and steel buildings also! I recommend RS means adds two additional chapters. Reinforced concrete building components for tall buildings; and steel components for tall buildings (21 stories to 41 stories in height).
