5Robust and Accessible

Introduction to Civil Engineering Systems is a very robust, yet accessible introduction into the world of systems engineering. Each chapter is easy to read and interspersed with appropriate thought exercises to help with retention along the way. The practice problems at the end of each chapter are also very good and help with learning the process of thinking in terms of systems, rather than just following a rigid set of steps. I would highly recommend this as both a textbook and as a good reference book.
