If you wondered why you studied right triangles in high school - you'll see why. The book is clear, well written and has plenty of examples to help you through a statics course. I never had a formal study of statics, but often used most of the principles via my knowledge of physics. Lots of diagrams - so a deep imagination is not necessary. It's not quantum physics.
