1If you don't already know how to approach Statics problems, don't buy this book.
By Alex Kreitz
This book is completely useless. There is little to no explanation of how to go about solving problems, and even in the solutions to the example problems in the book, they don't really explain what it happening in the solution or how/why they did a certain step. Normally, I will go to a textbook when I need clarification on a subject in a class, but this one has not given me any help. If anything, it has made what seems like it should be a relatively simple subject much more complicated. UGH! I wish I could give this book zero stars.

5Better and Cheaper than the ones they sold at the college
By J. Conway
I bought this book for my Statics class. It was relatively inexpensive, the quality was just as described and I was very glad I bought it here at Amazon. The book was in very good shape while books in worse shape were sold for a higher price used at the school. I saved money and the book was one of the better written and easier to follow books I have used. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.

5Great textbook that has a lot of fundamental engineering problems ...
By Brian S.
There is a newer version out, but this is what my school was using. Great textbook that has a lot of fundamental engineering problems in it.
