About the Author
Wasim Asghar is a Licensed Professional Engineer in Texas (PE), Florida (PE) and Ontario (P. Eng) with consulting experience in design, commissioning and plant engineering for leading clients in Energy, Mining and Infrastructure. He holds Bachelors of Engineering – Electrical with distinction from McMaster University (2010) and Master of Engineering – Power Systems from University of Toronto (2013) which was completed with full-time work. In 2014, he undertook a two year international assignment for a major project in Florida and also decided to pursue PE Licensure in United States. The road to licensure was challenging primarily because of a lack of useful study material for FE and PE exams. Wasim passed both exams in first attempts (FE in October 2014 and PE in April 2015). The lessons learned during exam preparation process inspired him to write this study guide which is designed to help aspiring professional engineers better prepare for the latest CBT format of FE Electrical and Computer Engineering Exam.

I PASSED THE FE EXAM!!!!!
By Amazon Customer
I PASSED! This book along with the the online lecture was a great mixture to pass the exam! Not to mention the author, Wasim, is one of the most dedicated people I know trying to help people pass the exam! Every question I had he would answer within 24hrs, sometimes it would even be only a few hours before he would respond! You will not find quality like this in any book around the same price range. You also can not personally email the author of most other books to ask questions! I would recommend this book along with the Practice Exam he has made to anyone trying to pass the FE. It's nice to finally see material for the FE that won't bankrupt current students or recent grads. THANK YOU AGAIN WASIM FOR ALL YOUR HELP! I really do hope you come out with material for the Power PE Exam!

You will pass with this book, I just did

This is the best book ever for FE electrical. If you really want to pass your exam just buy this book and go through all questions at least twice. Thats what I did, I actually failed the FE exam twice and my main problem was the electrical part, I am an electrical engineer but I been out of college for so long, and forgot most of the tricks to solve problems related circuit analysis, signal processing, electronics, and so on. with this book, I took two weeks off from work, and I studied 8-10 hours a day till my exam and just got my result, PASSED. Please note this book does not include the following math, probability, ethics, economic. I really encourage the author to write a study guide for Math, Prob, ethics and economy.

Could be better, but it's helpful

This gets an extra star simply because the man is trying his best to help out examinees. The book has a few errors throughout, although he does have an errata on his website, so not much of a complaint to be said there (there could be more that have yet to be pointed out). It is a bit of a shame that it only focuses on the electrical engineering portion and ignores the math, probability, ethics, and economics, however the structural set up of the book attempts to familiarize you with the FE handbook and seems to replicate the general difficulty of the questions that will be asked. I think this should be used in conjunction with that other FE electrical engineering study guide by the other guy, but overall, a useful tool in preparing for the exam.
