5A good mix of old and new concepts.
    By Mitchel
This is my first hacking book like ever. Although I read many articles on hacking and viruses in the past. While everything looks educational focusing on definitions and stuff, it covers a lot of ground on both the old and new ends. When I saw terms like "Polymorphic Virus" I remembered the old Windows 98 and Norton/McAfee days when I got stressed dealing with these types of viruses. But there are modern stuff thrown in too like the use of the GPU for cracking stuff. It touches on security a lot too and provides a vast overview of hacking in general. Covers viruses, cracking and all that good geeky stuff. Very impressed.

4A great investment and very educational!

From a beginner's perspective, there are plenty of books available on the market that all claim to offer an in-depth introduction to Hacking, but many books fail to lay a foundation of knowledge, starting from the basics concepts. The purpose of this book is teach the basic knowledge about preventing possible methods of hacking. I learned several important meaning.
I'd recommend purchasing this book even if you don't think you need it right now. If you are looking to venture into the world of hacking, this book will teach you all the information you need to know.

4All you need to know about legal hacking
    By Virtuous Woman
I was relieved to find out from the pages of this book that hacking can be a “good” thing. I’ve always thought of it as an illegal activity and now I’ve learned that it can be fun filled legal activity.

Hacking and cracking are two different activities which are explained by the author for me to understand. I especially liked the info about malware and viruses and also how to become an ethical hacker and the methods employed by one.

The information a safe computing was good as well, this is information that everyone should know about. As my rule of thumb I try to learn new things and this is one of the things I decided I wanted to learn about and I have from the pages of this book.
