Too basic, let's include more information here
By Citroen R.
The book is very basic. It covers the very basics of everyday remodeling costs and repairs. For those of you who might be looking for a reference to inform you for various solutions used in remodeling/addition for homes, it might not be comprehensive enough. I think this book fits the bill for your average contractor doing average remodeling jobs.

Great overview guide for remodeling costs
By California Mike
In planning several bathroom remodels, we used this guide to estimate the cost for everything (plumbing, flooring, electrical, framing, drywall, etc). We were able to use this analysis guide to achieve a very attractive price. With this as a guideline, you can know if your contractor is trying to rip you off. Be sure to have your contractor give you an itemized bid for each piece of your remodel.
