Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher
It's very hard to find manhour estimates for construction that represent real time on real jobs. Construction Estimating Reference Data offers nearly 400 pages of manhour estimates for nearly every job in construction.

4It's one of the better ones
By KeiskaK
I've spent close to 11 years working in the construction environment, and I own several of this type of book. This is one of the better titles out there. This book has several construction elements, each element has a description of a method of construction and the type and quantum of reasources required to build using the method stated. It's in imperial and is based on USA reasources, of course if you're Americian then it's prefect. I live in the Caribbean so while the information is good, I can not use it blindly and generally make slight adjustments as I see fit.

The book comes with a CD, however to use the CD you have to install it, I have never installed it so I can not really say what's on there, however I would have perfered a CD with a soft copy of the book (that I didn't have to install). All in all still my most favourite referance document for estimating rates.

4construction estimating reference data
By charlie
I feel this book is a good guide line for my inspection business. It has a good over view of construction materials and labor. Of course some adjustments have to be made depending on the area the inspection of construction project is located.

2Not the helpful data promised
By Jim
Construction Estimating Reference Data is not all what the write up states it is. I have a small construction business and purchased this catalog to get a better idea of pricing jobs allowing for more opportunity to win contracts. This was not the case for this area and thus not worth the purchase price.
