great book. nice pictures and electrical references
Good price.I recommend. The book is a nice reference for the 2011 NEC.
79 pages that are coated heavy stock in a spiral bound book. There are color pictures with numbers that take you to the section of the code. It can't get much easier than that.
Even if you are not an electrician, but a weekend DIY'er this book is very helpful. Of course, if you don't feel confident working around electricity then don't try this at home!
But if you are like me, then it gives you the information you need to ensure that you follow the National Electric Code

GOOD FOR RESIDENTIAL ONLY
This book will teach some of the most important code requirements in residential wiring from the NEC. I recommend it to Apprentice Electricians.

By Dennis Scanlon
I used this book to re-wire my entire fire damaged (as in DESTROYED) house, and the electrical inspector actually said I did a better job than many electricians!
Nothing beats a professional though, so for those not interested in tackling their own electrical, this book would ALSO be useful for keeping your electrical contractor honest and in-check.
Very plain and easy to understand, with pictures of the various areas of the home (bedrooms, kitchens, utility rooms, etc) summarizing the requirements. BE SURE you get the latest edition...seems like codes are constantly changing.
