About the Author
David Pratt is a construction cost consultant and quantity surveyor. He has taught courses in construction estimating and cost management at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) and is a lecturer in construction costing at the University of Calgary. Mr. Pratt has been a long-time member of the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors, and he holds degrees in quantity surveying from Liverpool College of Building and in economics from the University of Calgary.
