Book Description

When people can't afford new homes, they normally repair their old homes. Remodeling work can be extremely profitable work for savvy contractors. But it can be tricky to estimate remodeling costs as many of the problems are hidden, and many repairs uncover new problems.

This complete pricing guide for dwelling reconstruction costs can help you. It's based on thousands of repair and remodeling jobs throughout the U.S. It provides reliable, specific data you can apply on every repair and remodeling job. Up-to-date material costs and labor figures based on thousands of jobs across the country.

5Very helpful guide!
By Carolyn S. Ross
My husband has been using this guide to write estimates and bill his clients for nearly a year. As a self-employed home improvement contractor, one of his biggest challenges was determining costs for labor and materials. This has helped him a great deal.

5Excellent reference--included software a big bonus.
By Joe the Builder
Have not yet used it for an estimate yet. I checked my stats against the items listed in the book & it seems fairly accurate. The software included with the book seems like it will be very useful.
