Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher
We've never found a book like the National Renovation & Insurance Repair Estimator. It's unique because it lists thousands of renovation and insurance repair jobs and gives the prices for those items. It is popular not only for insurance adjusters, but also renovation, as well as remodeling contractors, looking for a pricing guide for work they've never done before.

4good for estimates when you have no idea
By scott
It seems a little bit off on some things and the categories don't always match up with what you are doing. Like if you are trying to tile a 100 sq ft 10 x 10 room it might be low. It is a good starting point though to help with bids. Experience from past jobs is the best way to bid things, but if its something you haven't done a lot of, this book will help.
