Great Value with much of the same data as the more expensive version
Great book for 30 bucks, compared to the 300$ version, even if it is just "remodel" information, most of the data are the same, you just have to spend some extra time sorting through it for new construction decisions. Things like 10ft vs 12 foot ceilings, french vs sliding doors, brick vs stucco vs hardiboard. Makes for a much more intelligent discussion with the architect and the builder. From the Art of War - know your opponent. This book contains real pricing data unlike most of the other "estimating guides" out there like the Dewalt ones.

By JUDITH POWELL
I purchased this for a friend that does contracting jobs because he was grossly underbiding his jobs. Once he got this book he uses it on all of his jobs and found out just how much money he was using. It's also a good backup when his customers want to argue about the quotes he makes.
